While it is universally acknowledged that millions of people have languished under communist tyranny in the last 150 years, not many people are aware of the link between communism and another idea that came before it. In common with all materialist thinking, communism was strongly inspired by Darwin’s Theory of Evolution. Darwin’s view of violence and aggression as an immutable law of nature has set the stage for Social Darwinism, a fundamental principle of the ideologies that would eventually destroy millions of innocent lives.
